She won’t do that again, folks

After all the horrors and tragedies this week it is good to end with a funny story. …

A bear bit off a woman's fingers at a zoo after she ignored barriers and warning signs to try to feed the animal, police said.

The Lincoln Park Zoo in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, closed after the incident Friday morning.

Police said the 47-year-old woman lost a thumb and a forefinger, and two other fingers were partially severed.

I wonder how the bear is doing.

  1. Funny thing. I have just been looking up digital rights management as I can't bear it:Originally posted by wikipedia:

While DeCSS uses a cracked DVD player key to perform authentication, libdvdcss uses a generated list of possible player keys. If none of them works (for instance, when the DVD drive enforces region coding) a brute force algorithm is tried so the region code of a DVD is ignored. Unlike DeCSS, libdvdcss has never been legally challenged.[edit] DistributionMany GNU/Linux distributions do not contain libdvdcss (for example Debian, Fedora, SUSE Linux, and Ubuntu) due to fears of running afoul of DMCA-style laws, however they may provide the tools to let the user install it themselves. For example, Ubuntu provides it through Medibuntu.Distributions which come pre-installed with libdvdcss include BackTrack 2, CrunchBang 9.04.01, LinuxMCE 710, Linux Mint 7, PCLinuxOS 2009, Puppy Linux 4.2.1, Recovery Is Possible, Slax 6.1.1, Super OS 9.04, and XBMC Live. has nothing to do with the OP but who cares?
