The earthquake series on the SE Pacific Ocean Rise 9 October 2014.

I had forecast severe earthquakes for last Sunday. I have kept the previous post with the thread unfinished rather than ditch it.

The storms I had predicted to die away did so, slowly, over the weekend, finally leaving just Fung Wong as the last of the original. Here is the set of Analysis charts leading up to what occurred and most likely will continue to run until the series of upsets has finished:

A more comprehensive list with wider parameters can be obtained from the NEIC. If you allow for more (and thus smaller) earthquakes in the list you will notice that there are plenty of this type of phenomenon with earthquake lists immediately after a tropical storm decays:

03:19:40 -32.16 -110.88 5.2 Mb SOUTHERN EAST PACIFIC RIS
02:32:08 -32.20 -110.87 6.0 Mb Southern East Pacific Ris
02:14:32 -32.11 -110.78 7.1 M Southern East Pacific Ris

There isn’t really much more to say about the whole affair that can not be realised by any honest man looking at the details on his own. Here are the NWS tornado and strong winds reports for October so far.The last one at the time of writing is incomplete:

There is a relationship between tornadoes and volcanoes that has not been explained. When there is a significant eruption there is a halt in the winds over the contiguous USA apparently strombolian ones (such as the Hawaii and Iceland ones) don’t count.

I really don’t want to offer an hypotheses when the leading expert on a certain matter makes an hazarded guess, he tends to poison, significantly, further research as a layer of deference builds up around him. I would much rather people treated me the way they do now: With a discriminating disregard.

I should hate to be thought of as the originator of an idea that becomes famous for being wrong.

However….

I’ll bet my wages for the week that there is a relationship between the American Pacific and American Atlantic hurricanes involved in t somehow. The season for tornadoes is after all the season when all other northern hemisphere hurricanes start to occur. The Atlantic hurricane season starts as the US tornado season falters.
